Discord and Spotify are both down and the internet is meming on them

Update: Both services appear to be working once again

Original Article: Messaging platform Discord and music platform Spotify both went down on Tuesday, leaving users without access to both their audio-based entertainment and their many Discord servers. As a result of the outages, many users took to other platforms like Twitter to bemoan the loss of the services and to meme on the outages as well.

Discord itself took part in the meme, after officially announcing Tuesday's disruption, telling users that it is "time to go outside everyone." This prompted numerous responses from influencers and Discord users, including jokes fro OfflineTV, OTK, and others.

Spotify did not acknowledge their own outage, though thousands reported having issues accessing their platform as well. Those who tried to get on Spotify on Tuesday were met with an error and were logged out of the platform. Their lack of official statement on the outage didn't stop the internet from meming on them, of course.

Discord boasts 300 Million active users, while Spotify has over 406 million users in its own right, making the two platforms massively influential. Hopefully, the two services will be back online soon.
