On Nov. 11, Liiv SANDBOX announced that they will not extend the contracts with top laner Park "Summit" Woo-tae and Kim "OnFleek" Jang-gyeom. As of this announcement, Summit and OnFleek will be available in the stove league.

Summit first set foot in the LOL esports scene in 2017, but as Afteeca Freecs signed Kim "Kiin" Gi-in, Summit became the substitute and didn't have many chances to play. In the next year, Summit joined SANDBOX Gaming (Currently Liiv SANDBOX) and started to shine with his aggressive performance in the top lane.

OnFleek started his professional League of Legends career on Team Battlecomics and has been with the team through two rebrands in SANDBOX Gaming and Liiv SANDBOX. OnFleek was always considered the team's starting jungler, but Kim "Croco" Dong-beom became the starter after his suspension.

Liiv SANDBOX had a decent summer season as they reached the playoffs in 5th place. After being eliminated by T1 in the playoffs, they lost to Hanwha Life Esports in the regional qualifiers to conclude their season. Croco will likely take the starting jungle spot, but it is not yet sure who they'll start in the top lane.
