Asmongold sends rant-filled World of Warcraft Community Council application to Blizzard

Asmongold's ongoing beef with World of Warcraft developers at Blizzard has continued.

The popular World of Warcraft streamer took a break to mourn the death of his mother but has since returned just as critical of Blizzard as ever. While not ready to go back to full-time streaming, Asmongold decided to post a video on YouTube discussing Blizzard's decision to turn down his WoW Community Council application.

Asmongold rejected by Blizzard for WoW Community Council

Blizzard recently announced a World of Warcraft Community Council as a way to communicate with players more effectively. The goal of the council was to gather more feedback from players all over the world.

Asmongold decided to apply to the council, which he called "the least inclusive thing at Blizzard." The streamer was originally not going to apply but changed his mind when he killed the boss at the Torghast Adamant Vaults and got duplicate golden shoulder transmogs.

"Out of the three pairs of golden shoulder transmogs that are supposed to drop, I got a duplicate of the one I already have. What kind of dogsh-t ass garbage is that? A one percent chance that can repeat? Why is an item I already have still on the loot table? I'm not having fun," Asmongold wrote.

He continued by saying that the past few expansions' completionist content has "gone into the sh-tter" and Asmongold wants to join the council to give his insight why he feels this is important and express why people he talks to have "diminished interest in completing those goals."

"Overall, completionism content is boring, unfulfilling, and bad," Asmongold wrote.

Asmongold then joked that his application was "so good" that it was being escalated to Blizzard executives. But as of right now, it seems that Blizzard has ghosted Asmongold after receiving his harsh application. The outspoken streamer most likely won't be joining the World of Warcraft Community Council any time soon.
