A Message from former T1 Head Coach Daeny

Following the press conference with Polt, I would like to start off by saying that I feel bad that I had to leave T1 and was unable to fulfill my duties as the Head Coach. Regardless, I feel that I have done my best during the 8 months with the team and wish nothing but the best for them during 2021. Like all global esports fans, I’m sure that they feel the same way as I do in wishing that the team will pull through during this time. I believe in that.

With that said, I will not comment on this situation during the season as I love the game and have respect for the players. And I kindly ask that no speculations are made regarding this decision.

I have also gotten permission from T1 to sign with a local or global team. I have worked hard last year and this year and I would love to have the opportunity to end this season with global LoL fans. I would greatly appreciate any calls from other esports teams. I have the knowledge and experience and will prove it with the results.

I know that League of Legends will continue to do well. As people who love esports and the game, let’s make sure that we support the players to perform their best.

I hope that I was able to deliver my stance through this message.

All the best for the LCK and esports. Thank you,

Meanwhile, coach Lee "Zefa" Jae-min also uploaded a similar post on his Facebook page.

Hello, this is former T1 coach, Lee "Zefa" Jae-min. As Polt GM said at the press conference, I left the team with a sudden notification. Obviously, it's regretful, but I will not discuss anything further as I don't want the players to shake.

T1 allowed me to contact and sign with any Korean or global team. If there's anyone that's interested in me, please text me or send an email to redzone0007@naver.com.
