In March 29th (KST), Samsung Galaxy locked their position in second place after defeating MVP with a 2-0 record.

Jaehyuk "Ruler" Park played Ezreal and Kalista respectively in Game 1 and 2, and he made the most of their mobility to deal damage in safety and finish off weakened enemy champions. Game 2 was also a treat for Kalista mains who couldn't see their beloved champion in a LCK match for a long time.

Here is our interview with Jaehyuk "Ruler" Park.

Congratulations on locking second place in the regular season. How are you feeling right now?

I'm glad that we got a clean win today. Personally though, I could have played a bit better by not getting picked off by Twisted Fate in Game 2.

Kalista mains must have been excited by your pick in Game 2. Wasn't it a shame to have ended the game so early?

After the buff on Blade of the Ruined King, I gave Kalista a chance. I did want to build more offensive items, but I guess it couldn't be helped as I had no choice but to build Quicksilver Sash after building BotRK. 

Some say that SSG is playing better ever since you've defeated SKT T1. Do you agree?

Some claim that we didn't do so well in the first half of the season, but I think we were doing just as well back then.

You defeated the famed botlane duo of SKT T1. Were you sure that you could win?

I don't think Yongin "CoreJJ" Jo and I are second to any other botlane duos. Although SKT T1's botlane duo might be strong, we definitely are confident about ourselves too.

You've been picked off a few times in Game 1 while playing Ezreal. Is it because you play more aggressively with Ezreal?

I don't get picked off easily when doing practice, but I sometimes get greedy in LCK matches. I think I'll do much better if I remind myself to be careful not to be picked off.

Hyunsik "MaHa" Oh picked Kog'Maw in Game 1, and he built Guardian Angel as his third core item. Do you agree with his choice?

I don't think it's a good idea for an AD carry to pick up a defensive item in the early to mid game. Not even Maw of Malmortius is acceptable. The only thing that counts for an AD carry is an offensive item.

Some midlaners like Syndra seems to be too strong. Do you feel pressured when playing against midlaners like that?

Honestly, it's very difficult. Syndra is just too strong. She's a very difficult champion to face against as an AD carry.

I've heard that you were in a slump for a while. How did you get over it?

After losing against a few mid to low ranked teams, I went into a slump until I came across my old replays. Well, turns out there was a time when I couldn't avoid enemy skillshots at all. After realizing how far I've come as a player, I regained my confidence and started to play better.

Minho "Crown" Lee was spectacular today. Can you tell us how he did so well today?

I'm not too sure. He's been doing great in both ranked games and scrims, however.

The current metagame calls for a tanky toplaner. What are your thoughts on Sungjin "CuVee" Lee's role?

Well, since the metagame calls for a tanky toplaner, he will have done his job well if he takes one or two for the team.

You've locked second place in the regular season. How will you prepare for the playoffs?

We've been doing great recently, so we will do our best to carry this streak over to the playoffs.
