T1 and Logitech G to hold academy tournament, 2020 Logitech G Rookie Invitational on the 14th

SK Telecom CS T1 will collaborate with Logitech G to open a League of Legends Academy competition, “2020 Logitech G Rookie Invitational” on the 14th (KST). This competition will be broadcasted live on the T1esports’ twitch channel. VODs will be available afterward on T1’s Youtube channel. In this competition, the academy teams of T1, Gen.G, and SANDBOX Gaming will participate with Brion Blade.

T1’s content creator, Lee “Wolf” Jae-wan said, “After I returned to T1, I discussed many things for content with the team members. I’m happy that we’re able to create a lot of content for the fans to watch like the RCK (Return of Champions). As much as it’s a tournament where the hot prospects of the future LCK will compete in, please cheer and watch with interest.”

Park Se-ho, T1 academy coach said, “There aren’t many chances for the academy players can compete officially, and I’m thankful that T1 created such an opportunity. Through this opportunity, I’ll do my best so that the T1 academy players can show good performances.”

2020 Logitech G Rookie Invitational will be held in a tournament draft format and 3,000,000 KRW (≒2,500 USD) will be awarded to the winning team. The player voted as MVP of the tournament will receive a special package consisted of Logitech G gear.
