[Call of Duty: Modern Warfare] Best Attachments for RAM-7

It has been nearly a month since the Season 1 Battle Pass has become available on Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. There were two weapons that were added: the RAM-7 and Holger-26. Since it’s been around for a while, the loadouts have become somewhat standardized. Let’s have a look here about the best attachments for the RAM-7, which is statistically one of the best weapons in the game.

RAM-7

▲ Recoil of RAM-7 (Left two) and M4A1 (Right two)

The RAM-7 has a rather unique recoil. It starts shifting to the left after going straight up for about 10 bullets. The M4A1 (which still seems quite broken) has a milder recoil which shifts slightly towards the right. It definitely needs some aids for controlling recoil, so the compensator is quite necessary. The 45 Round Mags are also compulsory as you’ll find yourself frantically trying to reload quite often when enemies are nearby.

All-Rounder

If you don’t want to lose anything, this would be the basic setup.

- Muzzle: Compensator

- Underbarrel: Merc Foregrip

- Ammunition: 45 Round Mags

- Rear Grip: Stippled Grip Tape

You can choose any optic of your choice, but for slight ADS improvement, you can use the iron sight and add another attachment. The XRK Close Quarters Stock would be the most recommended; after all, you’re using the iron sight to improve ADS. With this loadout, you can become an all-rounder since it’s quite effective in most situations. However, you wouldn’t want to pick a fight against long-range enemies that are equipped with SRs or the Oden.

Run & Gun

One of the advantages the RAM-7 has over other assault rifles is that it has the fastest ADS and highest mobility. You can turn it into a somewhat SMG-like weapon with these attachments.

- Barrel: FTAC 13.5” Compact

- Underbarrel: Commando Foregrip

- Ammunition: 45 Round Mags

- Rear Grip: Rubberized Grip Tape

- Stock: XRK Close Quarters Stock

This way, your close-quarters combat will be slightly better. However, it wouldn’t be as strong as SMGs (MP5s, also broken) in those situations. So usually, this loadout isn’t that recommended. I’ve found this loadout useful in smaller maps like Shoot House. Shipment is too small and shotguns dominate the whole map.
