Nexon and Able Games are rolling out three new Chaos difficulty levels for Party Quests in their mobile idle RPG, 'MapleStory Idle.' The 'First Accompaniment' Chaos difficulty, which rewards rings, launches on the 21st, followed by 'Dimensional Crack' (necklace reward) on May 28, and 'Trace of the Goddess' (face accessory reward) on June 4.

Clearing Chaos difficulty levels allows players to obtain higher-grade equipment. Additionally, a 'Party Quest Burning UP' event will run for one week following the launch of each Chaos difficulty level, increasing the drop rates for the corresponding reward equipment.
An exploration system is also being introduced as new content. This feature allows players to automatically run Party Quests while playing the main game to earn equipment. Players receive one exploration ticket per week, with each ticket providing two hours of exploration time.
Three new legendary artifacts are also being added. The 'Alliance Token' increases the attack power of all party members by 10%, with effects stacking if multiple members equip it. The 'Horn' increases the final damage of the player and their allies by 10% while summoning companions, with the effect doubling for the player during 'Chapter Boss' battles. The 'Cursed Doll' provides +15 Accuracy and a 7% increase in final damage; it also features a conditional mechanic where, if an opponent dodges an attack, the final damage bonus is replaced by a 3x Accuracy boost for 5 seconds.
