Goddess of Victory: Nikke begins Pick-Up recruitment for new Nikke Drake: Great Villain
Unique HP buffs plus bonus Wind code synergy?
From evaluation to practical team comps, here is everything you need to know about the new Nikke

The Final Piece of the New Matis Squad: Drake: Great Villain
Pick-Up recruitment for the new Nikke 'Drake: Great Villain' (alt Drake) has begun in Goddess of Victory: Nikke. Drake: Great Villain is a Burst III Defender Nikke who uses a Shotgun (SG) and possesses the Wind code element.
Her most notable feature is her weapon transformation. While she normally uses a shotgun, entering Full Burst transforms her weapon into a charge-type weapon, boosting her firepower. This transformation triggers automatically whenever Full Burst is activated, without requiring Drake to activate her own Burst skill. Once Full Burst ends, Drake's remaining ammo is forcibly reduced to 0.
Drake: Great Villain synergizes remarkably well with the new Matis team compositions. She provides Max HP increase buffs that empower HP-scaling damage dealers like Laplace: Ultimate Hero, and Drake herself deals HP-scaling damage. Being a Wind code Nikke, she pairs effortlessly with them. In particular, Laplace: Ultimate Hero is evaluated to have reached a new damage ceiling with the addition of Drake: Great Villain. The new Matis team is widely used in Wind-element Solo Raids, and Drake's arrival effectively completes the final piece of the lineup.

Top-Tier Passive "Totem" Utility! Plus Surprising Versatility
The biggest strength of Drake: Great Villain is her aptitude as a passive "totem" unit. Because her core weapon transformation mechanic applies automatically upon entering Full Burst, Drake does not need to cast her Burst skill herself. Combined with her valuable Max HP buff, she serves as an exceptionally strong off-burst totem Nikke.
She is also worth considering in Shotgun teams. Due to her weapon transformation mechanic, Drake: Great Villain cannot fully utilize ATK speed buffs in Shotgun comps. However, when taking advantage of Elemental Advantage (Superior Code), her raw stats alone deliver solid damage, leading players to research her use as a second damage dealer in general Wind elemental advantage Shotgun teams.

Beware of Low Max Ammo Efficiency!
Typically, standard damage dealers aim for Overload gear stats focusing on Elemental Damage (Superior Code Damage), Max Ammo Capacity, and ATK. However, Drake: Great Villain is a special case. Because Skill 1 changes her weapon and her remaining ammo is forcibly reduced to 0 when Full Burst ends, the efficiency of Max Ammo Capacity is significantly lower. Therefore, players do not need to heavily prioritize Max Ammo options on Overload gear or Harmony Cubes.
For Drake: Great Villain, Charge Damage is recommended as the third option alongside Elemental Damage and ATK. As for Harmony Cubes, HP boost Cubes can be used in addition to reload-related Cubes.

Recommended Team Compositions
#. Laplace: Ultimate Hero – Rouge – Drake: Great Villain – Maxwell: Ordinary Mechanic – Helm (Favorite Item)

A Solo Raid team composition utilizing the new Matis squad. Since Laplace: Ultimate Hero is an HP-scaling damage dealer, she pairs exceptionally well with Rouge. Because Drake: Great Villain can be operated as a passive totem without casting her Burst skill directly, the Burst skill rotation order is relatively flexible.
#. Laplace: Ultimate Hero – Rouge – Cinderella – Maxwell: Ordinary Mechanic – Drake: Great Villain

A composition running Drake: Great Villain as a passive totem alongside Cinderella, another HP-scaling damage dealer. HP-scaling damage dealers can be swapped depending on enemy elemental codes.
