SEGA Publishing Korea will showcase a Korean demo for Total War: Warhammer 40,000 at Tokyo Game Show 2026. The company will host a 30-minute playable demo and on-site events while accepting sign-ups for a Korean closed beta test to be held in 2026.

SEGA Publishing Korea (CEO Go Saito) announced details regarding its participation in the SEGA/ATLUS booth at Tokyo Game Show 2026 (hereafter TGS 2026) for Total War: Warhammer 40,000, which is scheduled for release in 2027.

Total War: Warhammer 40,000 will be released on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. The PC version will be available via Steam and the Epic Games Store.

At the TGS 2026 booth, visitors can play the Korean demo ahead of the official release. The demo lasts approximately 30 minutes, allowing players to command the field as leaders of the Imperium's elite Space Marines. Participation is restricted to ages 18 and older, and attendees who complete the demo will receive an acrylic dog tag keychain.

The booth will also feature the "Hammer Challenge," an interactive program themed after the four factions appearing in the game. Visitors aged 18 and older who have added the game to their wishlist can participate, with prizes awarded to all participants.

Prizes include items sponsored by HP Japan's gaming brand HyperX, JOYTOY, and STARFORGED, as well as Total War: Warhammer 40,000 towels and T-shirts. Visitors who participate in the "Hammer Challenge" and follow the official Total War Japan X account will also receive an additional game sticker.

A limited-edition diorama created by Games Workshop, featuring actual miniatures replicating the key art of Total War: Warhammer 40,000, will also be on display. A TGS 2026 game overview trailer featuring new gameplay footage will also be revealed at the venue.

SEGA has also opened a Korean sign-up page for the Total War: Warhammer 40,000 closed beta test taking place in 2026. Anyone aged 18 or older can apply regardless of whether they visit the event venue. The exact test schedule and further details will be announced at a later date, and the Korean localization provided during the test may not be fully complete.

TGS 2026 will be held from September 17 to 21 at Makuhari Messe in Chiba Prefecture, Japan. Business Days run on September 17 and 18 from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Public Days operate on September 19 and 20 from 9:30 AM to 5:00 PM, and on September 21 from 9:30 AM to 4:00 PM.

The SEGA/ATLUS booth will be located at 4-N01 in Makuhari Messe Hall 4. The merchandise area will operate at 11-W03 in Hall 11.
