Niantic announced on the 14th that it will host a local event, 'Walk Anywhere, Pikmin Bloom Tour: Yokosuka,' in its real-world walking game, Pikmin Bloom.
Walk Anywhere' is a feature designed to let players revisit walking routes from past live events, allowing participants to visit the locations on their own schedule and re-experience the event. This Yokosuka event begins on the 17th and features a route based on the '2023 Pikmin Bloom Tour: Yokosuka' held in 2023.
A total of 12 special spots have been set up along the Yokosuka seaside promenade. Participants who complete the mission of swiping at 7 of these spots will receive a special postcard as a reward. Event tickets can be exchanged for 700 coins via the in-game local event portal; these tickets have no expiration date, allowing users to plan their trips flexibly according to their personal schedules.
The event is activated by arriving at the location and tapping the screen near the designated special spots. Once activated, the event remains available until the end of the year. Additionally, participants in the 'Walk Anywhere' course will receive a special local event patch to commemorate the area as a reward.
Further details can be found on the official Pikmin Bloom blog.
