Popular cosplayers Yun Seol-hwa and Kim Yeon-ji have graced the cover of the July 2026 issue (No. 278) of the men's magazine MAXIM.

This issue of MAXIM features a special collaboration to celebrate the 3rd anniversary of the popular mature-rated RPG 'Brown Dust 2.' For this photoshoot, costumes were crafted to perfectly capture the traits and design concepts of the game's popular characters, with four models in total adorning the covers, each showcasing their own unique charm.

The Type B cover features a duo shot of professional cosplayers Yun Seol-hwa and Kim Yeon-ji. Both are familiar names to fans of gaming and subculture events. Having previously participated in 'Brown Dust 2' events, they have built a strong reputation among the game's fanbase. In this MAXIM cover, the two cosplayers moved beyond a standard 'model photoshoot' to deliver an authentic cosplay experience that highlights their ability to embody their characters.

Yun Seol-hwa took on the concept of 'Herald of Enlightenment Darian' from 'Brown Dust 2.' With platinum blonde hair, black wings, and a unique costume silhouette, she captured the mysterious and overwhelming aura of the goddess character. In the photos, Yun displays both a sacred air and a provocative charm.

Kim Yeon-ji transformed into the 'Ocean Vanguard Rubensia' concept from 'Brown Dust 2.' Using short black hair, a headset, a sky-blue firearm prop, and a tactical vest, she brought out the character's cool and combative appeal. "She's a character who even shares my cool and hearty personality!" Kim said, expressing her affection for Rubensia. Her intense gaze, steady posing, and deep understanding of the character combined to create a scene that looks as if a battle-ready pretty girl from the game had jumped into reality.

The MAXIM cover featuring the two cosplayers is a lethal double cover that captures the contrasting charms of the sacred Darian and the combative Rubensia in a single frame.

The July 2026 issue of MAXIM features four models in total, including Yun Seol-hwa, Kim Yeon-ji, and Miss MAXIMs Babiang and Chae-sol. The Type B cover, which highlights two active cosplayers familiar to subculture fans, promises to be a special collector's item for both fans and MAXIM readers.
