It’s already day six since the launch of Sol: Enchantment, and among Inheritors, the 'Seal of Nine' enchantment has become a hot topic as a fun side activity. You can purchase a Seal of Nine from the Nine Shop for 100k Nine each; if you successfully enchant it, you can exchange it for Nine. If you beat the 30% success rate at every step and reach +5, you could hit the jackpot with a whopping 24.3 million Nine.
Of course, it’s not exactly a reliable way to farm Nine. It requires an initial investment, and failure leads to an immediate loss. Still, the thrill of success and the increasing rewards are undeniably fun. As someone who can’t resist a dopamine rush, I’ve shared my own lighthearted attempt below—take a look if you’re considering trying it yourself.

How do you enchant the Seal of Nine?
The process is simple. Head to the Nine Shop, where you can buy a Seal of Nine Chest for 100k Nine. You can purchase up to 30 per server daily. Each chest contains one Bound Seal of Nine and one Lord's Enchant Scroll. The components provided only allow for a +1 attempt; for further attempts, you’ll need to use your own supply of Lord's Enchant Scrolls.
Once you have the chest, use the Lord's Enchant Scroll to attempt an enchantment. You can do it one by one or use the bulk enchantment feature. If you fail, the item vanishes, but if you succeed, you can exchange it for Nine in the 'Nine Exchange' section of the Crafting menu. A +1 Seal of Nine can be exchanged for 300k Nine. For every grade you increase, the Nine reward triples: +2 gives 900,000, +3 gives 2.7 million, +4 gives 8.1 million, and reaching +5 nets you a massive 24.3 million Nine.
Realistically, aiming for +5 is a tall order. With a 30% success rate per step, you theoretically need to beat a 0.243% probability to reach +5. Simply put, you’d need to consume about 411 Seals of Nine to land one +5 success. If luck is on your side, however, you could walk away with 24.3 million Nine from just a single seal.
| Grade | Effect | Success Rate | Cumulative Success Rate | Reward Value | Required Quantity | Required Nine |

| +1 | Hit +2 | 30% | 30% | 300k | ~3.33 | ~333333 |
| +2 | Hit +3 | 30% | 9% | 900k | ~11.11 | ~1111111 |
| +3 | Hit +4 | 30% | 2.7% | 2.7m | ~37.04 | ~3703704 |
| +4 | Hit +5 | 30% | 0.81% | 8.1m | ~123.46 | ~12345679 |
| +5 | Hit +6 | 30% | 0.243% | 24.3m | ~411.52 | ~41152263 |

I started with a modest investment of 500k Nine!
Now that I knew the method, I went off in search of that dopamine hit. I set my initial capital at exactly 500k Nine. In reality, I only had about 510k Nine to my name. I had been saving up for an Unique Skillbook, but early this morning, I impulsively decided to try and make a little profit with the Seal of Nine. Even knowing the math says the odds are against me, I just couldn't help myself.
For those looking for a bigger rush, I should mention that I approached this cautiously to minimize losses. I’ll save the true 'high-stakes' dopamine rush for when I’m actually rich in Nine.
I started by spending all my money on five Seals of Nine. Two of them succeeded at +1, netting me 100k Nine right off the bat. I actually thought, 'Maybe I can get rich doing this!' On my second round, I considered going all-in with six seals, but fear of loss kicked in, so I timidly used the 100k Nine profit to try just one more—which failed.

I went back to the start and bought five more, and again, two succeeded at +1. The expected value was 1.5, so I got lucky. If all five had failed, I would have been doomed. One succeeded in my fourth round, and after that, I used my 300k Nine profit to chase the big prize. I was very careful, determined not to lose my principal.
It turned into a long, tedious battle. The probabilities are actually quite accurate; for every three I tried, only one would succeed at +1, just enough to break even. This happened five times in a row. On my 10th and final round, I bought three more and ended up with one +1. I made a big decision there: since I was already at break-even, I pushed for +2. Fortunately, it succeeded, and I walked away from the 10th round with 900k Nine.

Looking back, I kind of regret not pushing for +3 since I was already at break-even. Maybe I was just a bit too timid this morning. The important thing is that I burned through all 30 Seal of Nine chests in a flash—something I never thought I’d do at the start. If I could have bought more, I definitely would have. That’s how immersive and thrilling this enchantment process is.
Since my first experience ended in a profit, I think I’ll keep buying a few chests whenever I have spare Nine. If my wallet gets a bit heavier, I might even get bold enough to click that button more often. However, I don't recommend blindly following my lead. Looking at the results, I actually succeeded at a 36.67% rate, which is slightly higher than the actual probability. I got lucky. If you plan on trying this, I highly recommend keeping it light.
