WEMADE (CEO Park Kwan-ho) has successfully concluded its global esports tournament, 'Legend of YMIR World Championship Season 2.' Held at the SOOP Colosseum in Sangam, Seoul, on Saturday, June 27, and Sunday, June 28, the tournament saw the Asia region's 'Kings' server claim top honors by winning both the World Championship and the Legend Match.

The 'Legend of YMIR World Championship' is an esports tournament based on the 'Server War,' a core feature of WEMADE's flagship MMORPG, 'Legend of YMIR.' Following the inaugural event in Singapore last February, this tournament brought together global players and Korean users for offline competition and interaction, realizing the vision of an 'MMORPG enjoyed by users worldwide.'

The matches, which drew intense interest from global users, were broadcast live via WEMADE's official global YouTube channel, as well as major streaming platforms including SOOP, Twitch, and Facebook Gaming. The event garnered significant attention, with match videos recording approximately 100k cumulative views.

The World Championship featured 20 elite clans—five from each of the four global servers representing Asia, South America, and North America/Europe. With a capacity of up to 500 players per match, hundreds of participants created massive battlefields in every round.

In the subsequent 'Legend Match,' the World Championship-winning 'Kings' team faced off against a team of Korean representatives. To ensure fair competition, the character stats for both sides were normalized based on their rankings. Participants competed under equal conditions, showcasing precise control and teamwork, which ultimately led 'Kings' to secure another victory by winning the Legend Match as well.

WEMADE plans to continue providing unique entertainment through various 'Legend of YMIR' content that allows users around the world to communicate and enjoy the game together.
