Korea Post is conducting a preference survey for the League of Legends (LoL) champion skins to be featured on the 'Faker Commemorative Stamp,' scheduled for release this October. The voting period runs from the 19th to the 25th.
The skins listed are the World Championship skins and tribute skins associated with Lee 'Faker' Sang-hyeok.
There are nine skins in total: the 2013 World Championship skin 'SKT T1 Zed' from his first time lifting the Summoner's Cup; the 2015 and 2016 championship skins 'SKT T1 Ryze' and 'SKT T1 Syndra'; the 2023 World Championship skin 'T1 Orianna', which marked his return to the top after seven years; the three tribute skins released to commemorate his induction as the first member of the Hall of Legends: 'Risen Legend Ahri, Risen Legend LeBlanc, and Immortalized Legend Ahri'; and the 2024 World Championship skin 'T1 Yone' along with the special Finals MVP skin 'Prestige T1 Sylas'.
Participants can vote for the three skins they consider the best. The prize draw includes the Faker commemorative stamps.
Meanwhile, Korea Post announced the issuance of the 'Faker Commemorative Stamp' last April. Commemorative stamps are typically issued to honor events or figures of national significance. As it is rare for a living person other than a president to be featured, this once again highlights the status of esports and 'Faker'.
In May, the issuance of a commemorative stamp for the 10th anniversary of the K-pop group BLACKPINK was announced, which became a hot topic when it was released on the 16th.
