Riot Games has announced the 2025 VALORANT Champions Collection, a limited-time in-game bundle launching September 4 to commemorate this year’s VALORANT Champions tournament in Paris.

The collection features the Champions Vandal, a new Butterfly Knife, and a set of cosmetics, each designed to highlight the prestige of the season-ending event. Riot says the bundle draws inspiration from “golden moments” in VALORANT esports and showcases visual effects tied to kills and victories.

The Champions Vandal, for example, gradually transforms to gold as players rack up eliminations. Holding the highest kill count in a match also activates a red flame aura. Unique finisher animations will play the 2025 Champions theme song and display silhouettes of allied agents, while custom muzzle flashes, sound effects, and inspection animations further differentiate the weapon.

A Golden Finish for Champions Paris

The Butterfly Knife mirrors the Vandal’s progression effects, glowing with a red outline when players top the scoreboard and turning gold for a set duration after kills. Riot has also added new inspection animations and audio effects exclusive to the knife.

Cosmetic additions round out the set. A gun buddy in black and gold, sprays, and a trophy-inspired player card connect directly to this year’s Champions branding. A “Flex” item, modeled after the Champions trophy, plays the tournament theme song when inspected.

As with past Champions bundles, 50% of net proceeds will be distributed among teams competing in the VALORANT Champions Tour (VCT). Riot says this initiative has already generated more than $40 million in shared revenue for partner organizations through esports-related bundles sold up to 2024.

VALORANT Champions 2025 begins September 12 in Paris, where 16 teams will compete for the title of world champion. The Champions Collection will only be available in-game until the tournament begins. Players interested in supporting the competitive scene while securing exclusive gear will need to purchase the bundle before it leaves the store.
