Netmarble rolled out a major update Wednesday for its action-adventure RPG Game of Thrones: Kingsroad, now live on iOS, Android and PC via Steam, the Epic Games Store and Windows Launcher. The patch introduces a new southern region, a raid mode, seasonal events and fresh challenges designed to deepen exploration across Westeros.
The Crow’s Nest and adjacent lands have opened to exploration south of the Stormlands. In this zone, players join forces with Stannis Baratheon, claimant to the Iron Throne, who faces betrayal by hired mercenaries that have seized Griffin’s Roost. Users will undertake a series of primary quests and sub-quests to lift the siege, investigate treachery among sellswords and reclaim the fortress. Along the way, explorers will discover ancient ruins, tackle bounties and confront a dangerous new predator known as the Shadowcat.

A cooperative Raid mode pits teams against the Kraken, the first raid boss in Kingsroad. Positioned north of the Sunset Sea, the creature mirrors its fearsome novel depiction, capable of enveloping entire vessels. Participants must board a ship and coordinate tactical maneuvers to survive its tentacled onslaught. The design emphasizes synchronized teamwork and mastery of unique combat mechanics to overcome this maritime behemoth.
Seasonal updates now unfold in Wormwalk expeditions, ventures Beyond the Wall, plus rotating bounties, sub-quests and special events. These introduce time-limited missions that reward engagement and encourage return visits to diverse locales across the realm.

Introduced last year, Kingsroad casts players as the unexpected heir to House Tyre, a minor northern noble family. Gamers choose from Knight, Sellsword or Assassin classes—each reflecting signature combat styles drawn from the original series—and advance through an evolving storyline exclusive to the title. Strategic, class-based battles leverage distinct abilities and gear progression to reward tactical play.
