    Ever since Diablo was released back in 1996 through Blizzard Entertainment's original Battle.net launcher, millions of players have gone through the portal to play some of their favorite games. On Thursday afternoon, Activision Blizzard announced that Battle.net was receiving some front-end upgrades that, they hope, will bring the launcher into the present and act as a more aesthetically pleasing and functional hub for gamers going forward.
