The Netmarble Cultural Foundation (Chairman Bang Jun-hyuk) announced on the 27th that the Netmarble Rowing Team won a total of 17 medals (10 gold, 5 silver, 2 bronze) at the '2026 Chungju Tangeum Lake National Para-Rowing Championship,' held over two days starting on the 24th at the Chungju Tangeum Lake International Rowing Center.

Hosted and organized by the Korea Para-Rowing Association, the Chungbuk Para-Rowing Association, and the Chungbuk Sports Association for the Disabled, the tournament featured 17 events categorized by water and indoor disciplines, gender (men/women/mixed), and disability type (physical/visual/intellectual).

The Netmarble Rowing Team achieved strong results through the performances of athletes Kang Yi-seong (2 gold, 1 bronze), Kang Hyun-ju (3 gold), Bae Ji-in (1 gold, 2 silver), Lee Bong-hee (1 gold, 1 silver, 1 bronze), Jeon Sung-bo (1 gold, 1 silver), Chu Yeon-hee (1 gold, 1 silver), and Han Eun-ji (1 gold).

Additionally, athlete Bae Ji-in was named the MVP of the women's water events.

"I am truly happy to receive such a meaningful award," said Bae Ji-in of the Netmarble Rowing Team. "I am grateful to our director and coaches for always guiding us in the right direction, and to the company for their steadfast support. I will continue to work hard with my teammates to show even more growth in the future."

Meanwhile, the Netmarble Cultural Foundation established the rowing team in 2019—a first in the gaming industry—to promote sports for the disabled, support their long-term self-reliance, and expand activities for their social participation and rights. Since its inception, the team has achieved consistent success in various competitions, including winning 21 medals at the '2026 Seoul Mayor's Cup National Para-Rowing Championship' held this past May.
