XD.Inc (hereinafter XD) announced on the 13rd that it held '2026 Torchcon,' an offline event for its self-developed cross-platform hack-and-slash action game 'Torchlight: Infinite,' and unveiled a preview for the new season, SS13 'Afterlight.'

The 2026 TorchCon was held on the 11st at the West Bund Art Center in Shanghai, China. It was the second standalone offline event for 'Torchlight: Infinite,' bringing together players and developers from around the world. The event featured a preview of the new season, a Q&A session with the development team, various hands-on activities, and other events, all of which were broadcast globally via the official YouTube channel.

Notably, for Korean players, the event included both an on-site invitation program in Shanghai and a 'Seoul Watch Party.' Participants in the on-site program received round-trip airfare and accommodation, and through a program accompanied by the Korean operations team, domestic players were among the first to witness the new season announcement alongside global users. The preview showcased the key content for SS13 'Afterlight,' which is scheduled for release on the 17th.

SS13 'Afterlight' centers on new seasonal content involving the purification of evil spirits from another dimension. Players can experience new seasonal gameplay by activating special objects and defeating various evil spirits to earn rewards. Additionally, the season introduces exclusive systems that allow players to earn bonus rewards or engage in special combat encounters depending on their playstyle.

The new hero trait 'Hesper: Serena' was also unveiled. Serena is a new trait focused on ground-based skills, designed to offer a distinct area-of-effect combat style and support a variety of build configurations. Furthermore, the season will introduce a range of new content, including new ground skills, a divinity growth system, new challenge content, improvements to farming content, and updates to the market and quality-of-life features.
