The Busan IT Industry Promotion Agency and the Busan Indie Connect Festival Organizing Committee (hereinafter referred to as the BIC Organizing Committee) announced that blind ticket sales for the global indie game festival, Busan Indie Connect Festival 2026 (BIC 2026), will begin on the 22nd at 3:00 PM.

Introduced for the first time this year, the blind ticket is an early-bird booking option for gamers and industry professionals who love indie games, available before the official lineup is announced. To reward attendees who book based on their trust and anticipation for BIC, the tickets are offered at a 50% discount—the highest rate available throughout the entire event period.

The discount applies to all three ticket types based on the purpose of attendance: the Business Pass, which covers the entire offline event including Business Day (August 14) for industry professionals; the Offline Festival Ticket (2-Day), which allows access to the BEXCO exhibition hall on August 15 and 16 to meet developers; and the Online Festival Ticket for enjoying BIC 2026 remotely.

The Business Pass is designed for industry professionals and buyers, offering business opportunities and networking. A single pass grants full access to the offline festival from August 14 to 16, and includes an invitation to the online festival, allowing holders to enjoy the entirety of BIC 2026.

Notably, August 14, the first day of the offline festival, is designated as Business Day, with restricted access for the general public. Pass holders can immerse themselves in pre-arranged meetings and networking via the global business matching platform 'MeetToMatch' in the B2B-exclusive Biz Zone. On the same day, the Busan Indie Wave Conference, co-hosted by the Busan IT Industry Promotion Agency and the BIC Organizing Committee, will be held to provide a venue for sharing in-depth insights with global indie game industry professionals.

The Offline Festival Ticket (2-Day) provides access to the BEXCO exhibition hall on both August 15 and 16. During these festival days, the passion of developers meets the energy of gamers. Attendees can enjoy the festival by playing a wide range of exhibits, from hidden indie gems to highly anticipated titles.

The Online Festival Ticket allows participants to enjoy indie games freely from anywhere, without spatial or temporal constraints. Its key feature is unlimited access to the exhibited games from August 7 to 28, covering the period before and after the offline festival.

Blind tickets will be available for a limited time until 11:59 PM on July 10 and can be purchased through the official BIC website (bicfest.org). Further details regarding the BIC 2026 event and ticketing information will be continuously updated on the official website and social media channels.
