On June 12, the Busan Indie Connect Festival Organizing Committee (BIC Organizing Committee) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with RedForce PC Arena to ensure the successful hosting of 'Busan Indie Connect Festival 2026 (BIC 2026),' a global indie game festival supported by the City of Busan (Mayor Park Heong-joon), the Busan IT Industry Promotion Agency (President Kim Tae-yeol), and the BIC Organizing Committee (Chairman Joo Sung-pil). Through this partnership, both organizations plan to cooperate actively on the creation and infrastructure development of an 'FGT (Focus Group Test) Zone' within the event venue.

BIC 2026 is introducing a new 'FGT Zone' to further strengthen support for exhibitors. The FGT Zone is a space where gamers can play exhibition titles and provide in-depth feedback on gameplay, polish, and control accessibility. This allows indie game developers to go beyond simple demonstrations and use the opportunity to refine their work by gathering specific feedback from the perspective of actual users. Under this agreement, RedForce PC Arena will provide the necessary hardware infrastructure, such as PCs and monitors, handle technical support, and ensure an optimal space configuration so that attendees can focus on testing in a stable environment.

In addition, RedForce PC Arena will leverage its nationwide network of 'RedForce PC Arena' locations to promote entries for BIC 2026 in advance. By showcasing indie games through its PC cafe infrastructure—the closest point of contact with gamers—the partnership is expected to significantly boost awareness of the featured titles even before the event begins. Furthermore, the two parties plan to collaborate on brand promotion and joint marketing for RedForce PC Arena, while continuing to cooperate across various areas, including content creation and distribution.

Joo Sung-pil, Chairman of the BIC Organizing Committee, stated, "Through our collaboration with RedForce PC Arena, we are able to further enhance the user experience at the BIC venue. Connecting with the RedForce PC Arena network will serve as a practical channel to connect indie games with more gamers."

BIC 2026 will be held as an online festival (August 7–28) and an offline festival (August 14–16 at BEXCO Exhibition Center 1, Hall 2, Busan). Further details can be found on the official website.
