Riot Games is bringing together two of Korea’s most celebrated fighting-game veterans for a headline exhibition during its upcoming 2XKO Season 0 Fan Fest. DRX star Bae “Knee” Jae-Min and DN Freaks competitor Lim “Ulsan” Soo-hoon are set to square off on Dec. 7 in Seoul, marking one of the first major showcase matches for the publisher’s new tag-team fighter.
The two-day fan festival will run Dec. 6–7 at the Gen.G GGX PC Café in Jung-gu, Seoul, and is designed to commemorate the game’s early access period. Riot says the event will offer a mix of competitive play, hands-on sessions, and player-focused activities to introduce 2XKO to both newcomers and longtime fighting-game fans.
Fighting Game Masters Ulsan and Knee to Face Off
Across the weekend, attendees can access open play stations, beginner classes, duo competitions, and a stamp-collection rally that enters players into a prize drawing. A photo zone featuring 2XKO-themed backdrops will also be available throughout the event.
The festival’s first day centers on the 2XKO Korea Open, the second iteration of Korea’s First Impact tournament. Matches from the Round of 32 onward will be played on site, culminating in a grand final later in the evening. The tournament winner will earn an official invitation to compete at Frosty Faustings in Chicago early next year. Registration details for competitors are listed on the event’s information page.

The Dec. 7 lineup will then shift to the marquee exhibition between Ulsan and Knee. Ulsan enters the match following consecutive Esports World Cup titles in 2024 and 2025, while Knee remains one of Korea’s most decorated international champions across multiple fighting-game franchises. A streamer showcase featuring Zamtasua, Gamst, Kane, and Yeopu will follow the main event, including duo battles and spontaneous matchups with attendees.
Riot says all Fan Fest visitors will receive a merchandise bundle that includes a 2XKO hoodie, a reusable bag, keyring items, stickers, and a lanyard. Players will also receive an exclusive Joystiq Pro sticker—an in-game item available only at offline events.
The Fan Fest will operate in two sessions each day from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Fans can apply to attend by submitting their information through the official registration site by Nov. 30 at 11:59 p.m. According to Riot, 2XKO will continue evolving during its early access period based on community feedback and will feature Riot’s proprietary anti-cheat system to ensure fair play.
