The latest entry in the Metro series, 4A Games' Metro 2039, will be revealed for the first time during an Xbox showcase.

Xbox announced that it will host the 'Xbox First Look: Metro 2039' showcase on April 17 at 2:00 AM KST, in partnership with developer 4A Games and publisher Deep Silver. The showcase will be available to watch on YouTube and will include subtitles in various languages, including Korean.

The showcase will provide the first look at Metro 2039. 4A Games and Deep Silver have launched a page where fans can sign up for a Metro 2039 newsletter, inviting them to join the reveal of the next chapter in the Metro series.

Metro 2039 is the fourth installment in 4A Games' post-apocalyptic first-person shooter series, based on the novels by Dmitry Glukhovsky. Following Metro 2033, Metro: Last Light, and Metro: Exodus, the game will continue the story of survivors navigating the aftermath of nuclear war in and around the Moscow Metro.

Further information regarding the latest title in the series, Metro 2039, will be available during the Xbox showcase on the 17th.
