PUBG MOBILE Esports is rolling out a revamped system aimed at making it easier for players, community groups, and independent organizers to run their own tournaments, the company announced Monday. The update shortens approval times, cuts down on application requirements, and introduces multi-language support as part of a push to widen access to competitive play.
The new third-party tournament framework is designed to simplify the process at every stage, from applying for a license to requesting in-game tools. PUBG MOBILE said most tournament applications will now be reviewed within one to three days, a notable reduction that could help grassroots events get off the ground more quickly. Applicants will provide only essential details depending on event type and scale.
Organizers can select from a broad range of formats, including small community scrimmages, campus competitions, online events, and in-person tournaments. Team-building matches and fan-focused showmatches are also eligible.
Support Tools and Wider Accessibility
As part of the updated system, organizers who receive official approval will gain access to a variety of support options. These include Room Cards for hosting custom games, anti-cheat and technical assistance, and a spectator client for broadcasts. Approved events may also request live match data API integration and promotional support through PUBG MOBILE’s official social channels.
PUBG MOBILE Esports emphasized that multi-language support is a key component of the rollout. Organizers will be able to submit their applications in their preferred language, aiming to reduce barriers for regions with developing esports communities.
The process for applying has also been condensed into three steps. First, organizers submit details of their event and receive a simplified or full application form based on prize pool and format. After approval, they can request Room Cards directly through the same platform. A shortened post-event reporting system is intended to help wrap up tournaments more efficiently.
PUBG MOBILE said the initiative reflects its ongoing commitment to supporting community-driven esports and enabling more fans to participate in competitive play. With the new system, the publisher aims to encourage more local and regional events and foster a larger pool of competitive talent across global markets.
