Red Bull has added another powerhouse to its growing roster of gaming talent. During TwitchCon this past weekend, the energy drink brand announced the signing of One True King (OTK) co-founder and streamer Esfand as its newest Red Bull Player. He joins an impressive lineup that includes Ali “SypherPK” Hassan, VALORANT pro Tyson “TenZ” Ngo, and others representing the brand across competitive and creator-driven spaces.

Esfand’s addition marks another major partnership for Red Bull, which continues to expand beyond esports into the broader creator economy. Known for his signature mix of humor, authenticity, and versatility, Esfand’s content spans gaming, sports commentary, and live events—making him one of Twitch’s most recognizable figures. 

From College Football to Streaming Stardom

Born September 3, 1991, in the United States, Esfand’s route to streaming success wasn’t planned. A former college football player for Southern Methodist University, his athletic career was cut short by injury. Turning to gaming during recovery, he began uploading World of Warcraft content to YouTube simply because he didn’t have enough hard drive space to save his gameplay. That humble workaround would ignite a career that now sees him as the self-described “unofficial face of Classic WoW.”

Esfand later merged his passion for football and gaming through his “Coach Esfand” persona, bringing over-the-top sideline energy to his Madden NFL broadcasts. His annual “Draft Night Extravaganza,” co-hosted with Twitch, has since become a fan-favorite event blending live sports coverage with creator-driven entertainment.

By 2024, Esfand had expanded into GTA roleplay (GTARP), earning recognition as the Best Roleplay Streamer at The Streamer Awards and ranking as the ninth most-watched English-speaking Twitch channel globally. Beyond streaming, he co-founded OTK—one of gaming’s most influential creator collectives—and launched ventures including PC builder Starforge Systems, publisher Mad Mushroom, and agency Mythic Talent.
