Riot Games has reintroduced Revival: Remix Rumble, the music-themed throwback to Teamfight Tactics’ tenth set, as a limited-time game mode running from Wednesday, May 14, through Tuesday, July 29. Available on PC and mobile, the revival resurrects the festival-style traits—K/DA, Heartsteel, True Damage, Pentakill, DJ Sona, Maestro Jhin and Jazz Bard—alongside the Headliners mechanic.
Players will find a roster of fresh Augments tailored to the remix concept. Highlights include Rap Queen, blending K/DA and True Damage; Retro Gamers, which links Heartsteel with 8-bit bonuses; and The Band Is All Here!, pairing Pentakill with Punk. Additional options like Rave Festival, Mesmerizing Performance, Party Starters and Shield Bash round out the new lineup.

To kick off each match, Opening Encounters feature special appearances by Hacks—the current Cyber City mechanic—and classic champions such as Ahri, Akali and Zac. These encounters grant level-boosting shop bonuses, trait enhancements and thematic twists tied to the original Remix Rumble.
Item pools have been adjusted with increased bag sizes to ease access to contested champions: 1-cost units now total 50 copies, 2-cost at 40, 3-cost at 30, 4-cost at 12 and 5-cost at 10. The Revival Ladder progression system returns for players seeking rank-based rewards, while a new Event Pass priced at 975 RP offers exclusive Remix Rumble cosmetics, including the debut of the Pentakill Siege Minion Little Legend.

Senior Product Manager Christina Jiang described the revival as a chance to blend updated mechanics with fan-favorite content, ensuring both nostalgic appeal and modern balance. A developer video expanding on the revival features features Jiang alongside TFT Vegas Open Remix Rumble World Champion Milala, who discusses competitive strategies. Revival: Remix Rumble concludes with patch 14.8 on July 29, 2025.

I write. I rap. I run. That’s pretty much it.
