In the 2026 League of Legends Champions Korea (LCK) regular season Round 2 match held at the Chzzk LoL Park in Jongno on the 3rd, Hanjin Brion defeated kt Rolster 2-0. They pulled off a thrilling upset against the league-leading kt Rolster.
The first set was a back-and-forth affair. kt Rolster found success in the laning phase through 'Cuzz' Moon Woo-chan's Jarvan IV bottom-lane ganks and 'PerfecT' Lee Seung-min's Renekton mid-lane roams. Despite running a composition designed for the late game, they also managed to secure dragons and voidgrubs. Hanjin Brion, however, gained their advantages through skirmishes. Led by 'Gideon' Kim Min-sung's Eclipse Lee Sin, they consistently forced chaotic fights, landed consecutive effective hits, and pushed kt Rolster back to secure three dragon stacks.
After pushing kt Rolster back with poke damage and securing the Infernal Soul, Hanjin Brion widened the gap by picking up additional kills during a chase. When Lee Sin was caught out, 'Teddy' Park Jin-seong's Ezreal stabilized the situation, and Lee Sin later redeemed himself with a lightning-fast 'billiard kick' that took down both members of kt Rolster's bottom duo. Continuing their winning streak in team fights, Hanjin Brion marched forward with the Baron buff to close out the first set.
Hanjin Brion also drew first blood in the second set, with 'Gideon's' Xin Zhao successfully executing an early bottom-lane gank. However, kt Rolster's counterattack was fierce. They ambushed Hanjin Brion as they were taking the first dragon, trading kills to come out 3-1 ahead. kt Rolster even managed to dive and take down both members of the opposing bottom duo. Hanjin Brion responded by taking down 'Effort' Lee Sang-ho's Seraphine and securing the Rift Herald, but kt Rolster's offensive pressure left them unable to secure vision or avoid giving up further kills.
'Teddy's' Ashe turned the tide for Hanjin Brion. He used his ultimate to constantly threaten the side lanes and pick up kills. Hanjin Brion also caught out 'PerfecT's' Yorick and 'Bdd's' Ahri in a mid-lane skirmish, bolstered by excellent defensive play from 'Roamer' Jo Woo-jin's Aurora. Hanjin Brion then secured a clean ace at the dragon pit and took the Baron. With the Baron buff in hand, they pushed into the base to put an end to the match.
