NC (co-CEOs Kim Taek-jin and Park Byung-moo) announced on the 29th that it has signed a marketing memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Roblox Korea.
Under the MOU, NC and Roblox Korea will establish a cooperative framework for marketing in the domestic market, including: #1 planning and executing joint online and offline marketing campaigns; #2 creating co-branded content; and #3 conducting joint promotions through both companies' official channels.
Starting the 29th, NC will offer benefits for three Roblox IPs—'99 Nights in the Forest,' 'Dandy's World,' and 'Steal a Brainrot'—at 'NC Family Zone (NCFZ)' PC cafes nationwide.
Users can receive various benefits by accessing these three games via the dedicated game launcher 'R-Boost' at NC Family Zone PC cafes. NC plans to continuously expand the lineup of Roblox IPs eligible for PC cafe benefits.
Cho Young-jae, head of NC's Marketing Center, stated, "We are pleased to form a marketing partnership with Roblox, a global immersive game and creation platform, to provide more diverse play experiences to domestic users. We will continue to expand customer touchpoints and create mutual synergy through our collaboration."
Richard Chae, Country Manager of Roblox Korea, said, "We are excited to promote Roblox's unique content more dynamically through this marketing collaboration with NC, a leader in the Korean gaming industry. By combining our respective strengths, we will build an environment where Korean users can experience Roblox IPs more easily and immersively."
