T1 secured a 2-0 victory over DN Supers in the first round of the 2026 League of Legends Champions Korea (LCK) regular season, held at LoL PARK in Jongno on the 10th. After a dominant win in the first game, T1 faced pressure from DN Supers in the second but proved their strength by turning the game around with just two teamfights.

T1 got off to a great start in Game 1. 'Faker' Lee Sang-hyeok's Orianna seized lane priority to pressure 'Clozer' Lee Ju-hyeon's Azir, allowing 'Oner' Moon Hyeon-jun's Lee Sin to roam freely and repeatedly take down 'Pyosik' Hong Chang-hyeon's Nocturne. This enabled Lee Sin to make effective plays in the top and bottom lanes, giving T1 full control of the game. Although 'DuDu' Lee Dong-ju's Gwen managed a solo kill, it did not affect the overall outcome.

Around the 19-minute mark, T1's third dragon spawned, leading to a head-on teamfight. While it looked like Gwen might make a play, a well-fed Lee Sin finished off 'Deft' Seo Dae-gil's Caitlyn, allowing T1 to secure a massive win by taking down everyone except Gwen. Lee Sin's dominance continued; whenever DN Supers showed signs of life in skirmishes, he survived to crush any hope of a comeback, securing the Game 1 victory for T1.

DN Supers showed strong momentum early in Game 2. Despite giving up first blood to 'Oner's' Xin Zhao during an early bottom lane gank, they fought back fiercely. They caught out Xin Zhao in a top-side skirmish, and 'Pyosik's' Pantheon made effective plays in the bottom lane. 'DuDu's' Sylas secured a kill trade in a 1v2 situation, and 'Clozer's' Aurora picked up a solo kill. Leveraging Pantheon's mobility, DN Supers continued to score points and slowly widen the gap.

However, T1 was not about to collapse. 'Doran' Choi Hyun-joon's Gnar, who had struggled somewhat in the laning phase, turned the tide with a game-changing ultimate in a teamfight. 'Doran's' ultimate knocked three DN Supers champions into his team, allowing T1 to sweep up four kills. In the very next mid teamfight, T1 secured a clean ace and marched straight into the enemy base to put an end to the match.
