Puzzle Chase Mode Brings Strategic Speed Runs to Solitaire Cash

Guest Reporter

A new timed mode is coming to Solitaire Cash, one of the most-played skill-based card games on mobile. The update, called Puzzle Chase mode, introduces partially solved decks and a strict timer, challenging players to think several moves ahead under pressure. It’s a notable shift from the usual rhythm of play, with less about clearing cards at a casual pace, more about working through a logic problem at speed.

Unlike standard Solitaire formats, Puzzle Chase starts players off with partially solved decks. The goal? Complete the rest of the game in under 150 seconds, using only what’s left on the board. The time pressure is real, but it’s efficiency and foresight that ultimately determine a player’s success.

This mode is structured to test planning just as much as speed. Since the puzzle has already begun when the match starts, players must quickly assess the layout, anticipate moves, and optimize their order of operations. It’s Solitaire, but with the focus of a speedrun and the strategy of a logic puzzle.

Puzzle Chase unlocks at level 10, making it a mid-level feature designed for players already comfortable with the game’s basics. It will be introduced through dedicated tournaments, with clear onboarding prompts to help players adjust to the format.

Papaya, the company behind Solitaire Cash, continues to refine how players engage with traditional games by layering new mechanics, challenges, and formats. With over 20 million downloads and more than 20 million daily tournaments, Solitaire Cash has become a prime example of how classic gameplay can evolve through thoughtful innovation — and Puzzle Chase is the latest proof.
