Inven nickname: 엔페시아
- basic attack
or
basic attack -
‘basic attack - Q - basic attack’ isn’t the smoothest combo. ‘Q-basic attack’ combo can be casted much faster. So you should use it based on the situation.
--basic attack
Use this combo to get close with your and give some burst damage.
-basic attack-
Use this combo when you’re not sure whether you can land your Q.
+ basic attack() to slow down the enemy. Wait until the enemy uses a dash skill and land Q.
---( can be used last)
Hide in a brush until an enemy is close enough. Then surprise them with this burst damage combo.
Ezreal is very strong when he can land , so try hiding in a brush for a surprise kill.
It’s a passive skill so you might not really notice the existence of it, but this determines whether the user is a good Ez user or not. If Ezreal hits a skill, his attack speed increases by 10% for 6 seconds. This stacks up to 5.
This is why he only needs no more than one attack speed item. You have to always keep in mind that ‘5 stacks’ means 50% additional attack speed, regardless of level.
Try to stack as much as possible before engaging a fight. If you haven’t, try to stack up while you’re in a fight. You can stack up and maintain the attack speed buff by landing on your teammates or even landing it on yourself by casting first and then going inside the skill using (W-E combo).
- Mystic Shot
This is the key skill for Ezreal.
When it lands on the enemy, every skill cooldown is reduced by 1.5 seconds. For example, if you are on 40% cooldown reduction, and have mastered Q, it means that you can basically use Q every 1.2 seconds. Amazing.
-Essence Flux
This skill sucks.
However, it is still part of your skill sets so you’d better make good use of it.
1. Use it to stack your passive
By landing it on an enemy, teammate, or even on yourself(W-E combo), passive is stacked up and maintained. If you sense any possibilities of a fight, use and stack your passive.
2. Minor damage
On a very early game, has an almost the same amount, but slightly weaker damage compared to Ezreal’s basic attack.
3.
Cast and jump into the skill by using . This stacks up Ezreal's passive.
- Arcane Shift
You can teleport to a range of 475. It has a short cast delay.
After you teleport to the location, an arrow flies to the nearby enemy. You should remember that the arrow gives damage to the enemy.
Although it is one of the most efficient escape tools, it has a cast delay so you still have to be careful not to be hit by skills such as Alistar’s W-Q or Thresh’s Q. If you are hit by Alistar’s W-Q while casting , you can’t dodge his stun. If Thresh’s Q lands on you while casting Arcane Shift, he can still leap up to you.
Also, don’t forget that each hit you make using means 1.5 second cooldown reduction on your as well.
Use Q()+E and kite the enemy. It’s impossible to escape if the opponent lacks mobillity.
It is okay to go front line by using if you can get kills or when you can poke down the oppenent. . However, you should never misuse this because it is Ezreal's only movement skill.
-Trueshot Barrage
It can’t be cancelled whatsoever. If you are moved by something, or even if you use Flash, the ult is still casted on its first position.
The ult deals less damage for each additional unit, so if you want to use it on a fight, you should try to hit only the champions.
1. Wave clear
2. When a teamfight occurs
3. Long-range kills
4. When the team landed CC skills
5. Using it right in front of a fight
You need to use psychological warfare when doing number 5. Rather than casting it directly towards the champion, try to tilt it about 30 degrees. Another example is to cast it while walking to or facing a different direction. There are much ways to use it. You just have to think about creative tricks.
Well, experience is the key.
Trying out a new trick is okay but it’s more important to succeed on what you can do best.
Ult + Flash
You can confuse the opponent by using ult+Flash because the skill will be casted in its original position.
Ezreal can’t move while casting ult, so ult+Flash can also be a good escape tool.
Starting Items
- > Safest
- > Not recommended. Still a good choice if it’s hard withstand enemy lane pressure.
-->> -->> : The best build these days.
If your not building the for your third core item, is a more efficient boot.
should be built as fast as possible.
Build if there are a lot of enemy CCs. has some good base stats such as AD and life steal rate but lacks attack speed nor any other additional attack options.
Although it is a bit expensive, is a very safe item to build; especially efficient against tanks. Has some fair amount of damage, has an active skill, life steal and attack speed.
goes well along with and . It can make Ezreal an assassin; his becomes such a lethal threat. However, it’s not that effective against enemy tanks so build it when you have great advantage in early game.
is a good choice when the opponent AP dealers are strong.
You can upgrade the two items later to its’ complete form.
4th, 5th core item
vs
basic stats aren’t that efficient. So, try to build it in an early game if the enemy has a good amount of armor. Sometimes, you don’t need to build it at all.
Go for if there are no enemy heal champ and if the opponent tank has high HP+armor.
If there is a heal/life steal champ(ex: , , especially ) on the opponent side, build .
Early Game
Trade damage in lane. If you think you have the advantage, be more aggresive n your laning. If not, just try to survive and fight after you have your core items.
Mid game
Don’t wonder alone and get killed. If there is a split push champion on your side, move up to farm on mid rather than staying in bot lane.
Farm up on CS and grow. Don’t get killed. Big chance of a teamfight on mid game objective control, so be prepared.
Ezreal’s wave push isn’t that fast compared to other ADCs but he can safely farm up on minions using .
However, he somewhat becomes weaker in late games so try not to wander around too much.
Claim your victory in mid games.
Late game
Don’t die. Deal damage as much as possible.
You can also try assassinating an enemy dealer, but you should always be careful.
Actually, it’s much better to end the game in a mid game rather than late.
Teamfight
Try to be in a safe position and then deal damage.
+ makes it so easier to kill enemy deal champions. So playing as an assassin might help, but it’s risky so be careful.
Give your buff to your teammates which will grant them additional attack speed bonus. Also, it’s a good way of maintaining your passive stacks.
It’s hard to get help regarding teamfights.
You should always keep in mind that learning from actual experience is the answer.
