The regular season of the 2019 LCS Summer Split has come to an end. After a series of tiebreakers, the six teams that will battle for the championship in the playoffs have been decided. Starting from Team Liquid again reigning in 1st place (14-4), Cloud9 (13-6), Counter Logic Gaming (12-7), TSM (10-8), Clutch Gaming (9-9), and OpTic Gaming (10-10) have reached the playoffs.

Team Liquid confirmed 1st place to acquire the bye to semis while TSM and Clutch Gaming secured 4th and 5th place, respectively. However, tiebreakers were necessary to decide 2nd and 6th place. Cloud9 and Counter Logic Gaming were tied with a 12-6 record while OpTic Gaming, Golden Guardians, and 100 Thieves were tied for 6th at 8-10.

The tiebreaker for 2nd place was simple; Cloud9 defeated Counter Logic Gaming to take the second bye for the semis. For 6th place, OpTic Gaming eliminated 100 Thieves in a match that would decide who would play Golden Guardians (who had the most favorable head-to-head record among the teams that were tied at 8-10) for the sixth seed. OpTic Gaming then went on to defeat Golden Guardians, going 3-0 for the day, and securing the last spot.

The 2019 LCS Summer Playoffs will commence on August 10th and will have the grand finals on the 25th.
