CG Huni: "I become stronger when I'm vs. Echo Fox."

The wins for Clutch Gaming keep on coming, as the LCS cowboys defeated Echo Fox to close out week 4, day 1 of the 2019 LCS Summer Split. Drafting a high mobility pick comp with AD Carry Cody "Cody Sun" Sun on Sivir and Mid Laner Tanner "Damonte" Damonte on Twisted Fate, the stage was set for Top Laner Heo "Huni" Seung-hoon to carry on his Irelia.

And carry he did. Huni demolished his former team on The Will of the Blades and led Clutch Gaming to a 28 minute victory.  After starting the summer split off 0-2, Clutch Gaming has won four of its last five games, picking up integral wins before its match against Team Liquid on Sunday.

Huni joined Inven Global's Lara Lunardi after the game to talk about beating his former team. "It felt really good, honestly," said Huni. "Before the game, I was thinking I really didn't want to lose to Echo Fox, for sure."  Huni went on to point out CG's 2019 ownage of FOX in spite of poor spring results. "Even though we only had like five wins in the spring split, we never lost to Echo Fox. I become stronger when I'm vs. Echo Fox."

Clutch Gaming fell to Team Liquid the following afternoon, and currently sit at 4-4 after four weeks of the LCS Summer Split. CG only needs one more win to tie its win total from the Spring Split. Clutch Gaming will face Counter Logic Gaming in week 5 of the LCS Summer Split after the one week break due to Rift Rivals 2019: NA vs. EU.
