HLE Moojin Receives Disciplinary Action of 15M Korean Won and 48 Hours Community Service


On the 8th of May (KST), Hanwha Life Esports announced disciplinary action on Moojin.

Recently, Hanwha Life Esports’ jungler Kim “Moojin” Moo-jin’s conversation with a fan on an online messenger was revealed on social media. The conversation included complaints about scrims, a teammate, and some private issues.


On the incident, Hanwha Life Esports announced on their Facebook page that ‘Moojin acknowledges his behavior was controversial and is reflecting on his conducts’. The team fined Moojin of 15 Million Korean Won (≒12,800 USD) and community service of 48 hours.


They also mentioned that they’re ‘sorry that such an incident has happened although we have diverse policies and processes to manage the players’ and that they’ll ‘make sure it won’t happen again by educating the players well and improve the management process’.


Along with the announcement, they posted a hand-written apology from Moojin.
