2017 World Champion Crown has joined OpTic Gaming.

On the 25th of November, OpTic Gaming announced they have acquired mid laner Lee “Crown” Min-ho on a two-year deal through their social media.

Crown debuted in Brazil for Team 58ers and was known as “Shadow”. Afterward, he moved to Samsung Galaxy as a sub mid laner where he was renamed to Crown. In Samsung Galaxy, he was runner-up in Worlds 2016 and won the World Championship in 2017.

However, during the 2018 summer season, Crown didn’t have as many chances to play as Song “Fly” Yong-jun became the main starting mid laner for the team. He returned to the starting lineup at Worlds but wasn’t able to deliver good results.

Meanwhile, OpTic Gaming recently announced that they have part ways with their mid laner, Tristan “PowerOfEvil” Schrage. OpTic Gaming had finished 9th with a 5-13 record during the 2018 Spring split and fell short of playoffs during the summer split with a 9-9 record.
