KZ Peanut: "Our recent performance has been very poor. I think our ability to navigate throughout the map and decision-making was affected by it and was put in very bad shape."

On the 26th, at the Sangam OGN e-Stadium, Kingzone DragonX secured their 9th win of the split by putting an end to KT Rolster's winning streak with a score of 2-1. During the series, Peanut displayed stable performance -- contributing to his team by playing in a supportive playstyle.

The following is an interview with KZ Peanut.

You defeated KT Rolster, a team that has been performing exceptionally recently.

Had we lost today, we would've questioned our chances of making Worlds. I'm really glad that we won.

In game 1, you guys banned 3 support champions. Was there a special reason behind that decision?

Seemingly, if Score plays champions with a good engage, he has very good synergy with Mata. Therefore, we planned beforehand to either ban a lot of support or jungle champions.

Recently, Trundle has been seeing a lot of play on stage. Do you consider him an S-tier jungle pick?

For quite a while, our team saw very highly of Trundle -- he's a very safe pick, has a good level 2 gank, and is strong in the Scuttle Crab fights. He really has a lot of strengths.

Simply put, he is a very well-balanced champion.

In game 1, KZ snowballed at a very slow pace; slower than what the fans had expected.

Our recent performance has been very poor. I think our ability to navigate throughout the map and decision-making was affected by it and was put in very bad shape.

In game 3, Rascal was subbed-in.

He is a player that always joined us during scrims. He was subbed-in to bring a change in the team atmosphere. I think it was a great decision.

Your next opponent is Afreeca Freecs. In your prediction, how will the match play out?

All of our remaining games are important. We'll head into our match against Afreeca Freecs without thinking too much of who we are facing -- in order to reduce the amount of pressure that we feel as much as possible. In addition, we had won against them a good number of times in the past, so I think we'll be able to play confidently. We'll need to watch out for Kiin and TusiN.

Any last words?

I'm extremely happy as it had been a very long time since we won. It felt like we had won a game on the big stage today -- I was very happy when we won today. I'd really like to feel like this again in our next match.
