On July 22, a large-scale balance update was implemented, focusing on narrowing the performance gap between classes. This comes 28 days after the previous update on June 24. The core of this update is to adjust high-performing settings based on real-world data from top-tier content, while buffing classes and settings that were relatively underperforming. The new class, Dimensionalist, also received its first major balance adjustment since its release.
Regarding these changes, the development team explained, "We focused on reviewing real-world data for each class based on top-tier content since the last adjustment to narrow the performance gap." All classes, including the recently added one, were reviewed under the same criteria, with adjustments made to PvE damage, stagger, Arc Passive, and Arc Grid values. Stability in combat was also improved by adding push immunity and stagger immunity to certain skills.
The primary targets for nerfs are the Soulfist and the Dimensionalist. For the Soulfist, it was found that the 'Energy Overflow' setting, designed around energy skills, was seeing higher-than-intended usage and performance in actual combat. Consequently, the PvE damage of martial arts skills, including Hyper Awakening Skills, has been reduced by 28.6%, and the damage increase effect of 'Energy Release' level 3, along with key passive values like 'Energy Release Enhancement' and 'Three-Flower Gathering,' have also been lowered. To compensate, some Arc Grid effects used in the 'Indomitable Energy' (formerly 'Energy Overflow') enlightenment have been improved to bridge the gap between the two settings.
The new class, Dimensionalist, was also adjusted just two weeks after its release. The development team explained that the class' real-world data exceeded intended levels. As a result, the 'pre-casting' mechanism—where skills used in a separated timeline accelerate the Dimensional Clock—has been changed. The skill damage bonus from 'Acceleration Enhancement' has been removed, and the damage increase from the 'Spatial Dominance' passive has been reduced. Instead, some Arc Grid and utility effects were buffed to ensure performance scales appropriately with character growth and setting completion.

The majority of other classes received buffs. Warlord, Lancemaster, Gunslinger, Sorceress, and Hawkeye saw across-the-board increases in PvE damage, while Berserker, Destroyer, Slayer, Valkyrie, Striker, Breaker, Blaster, and Arcana received improvements to key enlightenment passives and Arc Grid values. For the Blade, the specialization coefficient for burst damage and the 'Chaos Power' effect were buffed, while the Devil Hunter saw broad enhancements to shotgun, handgun, and rifle-related Arc Grids.
Adjustments were also made to improve combat convenience and stability, not just damage. For the Hawkeye, a counter was added to Moving Slash, the attack duration of Arrow Shower was shortened, and the back-attack detection and tracking priority of certain skills were improved. Stagger or push immunity was added to skills such as the Sorceress' casting skills and Lightning Bolt, the Gunslinger's Target Down, the Hawkeye's Charging Shot, and the Devil Hunter's Spiral Tracker. These changes aim to reduce damage loss caused by skills being interrupted during combat.
For the Summoner, the summon duration for Kelsion and Judgement Kelsion was reduced, but their attack damage, stagger, and Ancient Energy acquisition were increased. This effectively compresses the summon time while allowing for higher performance within that window. The 'Spirit Communion' and 'Ancient Blessing' passives were also buffed, providing performance improvements for both the 'Overflowing Communion' and 'Advanced Summoner' lines.
While this balance update is generally a buff-oriented patch, significant nerfs were applied to the Soulfist and Dimensionalist due to their high performance metrics in top-tier content. With many classes seeing improvements in damage, stagger, and skill stability, it remains to be seen whether this will successfully balance the class landscape.
