Bandai Namco Entertainment Korea (Branch Manager Jang Tae-geun) announced that 'We Love Katamari REROLL+ Royal Reverie' (Korean version) and the paid DLC 'Rolling LIVE Highlights' will be released for Nintendo Switch™ 2 as digital-only titles on Thursday, October 8, 2026.

In this title, players travel through time to various eras on Earth, including the Wild West, Ancient Egypt, and the Jurassic period. The game features classic tracks returning with new soundtracks, new cousin customization options, and new items to assist with rolling, such as a 'magnet' that pulls objects in.

The Nintendo Switch™ 2 version offers a new rolling experience utilizing mouse controls, improved frame rates, and enhanced graphics. Players can also transfer save data from the Nintendo Switch™ to the Nintendo Switch™ 2, provided there is no existing save data on the Nintendo Switch™ 2.

Additionally, for those playing the Nintendo Switch™ version of the software on the Nintendo Switch™ 2, a free update will be released on October 8 that adds mouse controls and improves the frame rate.

The paid DLC 'Rolling LIVE Highlights' consists of new BGM tracks, challenges, cousins, and costume items. Players can enjoy content where they collaborate with streamers on Earth to increase their viewer count. The DLC includes 10 challenges, 12 BGM tracks, 6 cousins, and 18 costume items, and is available for individual purchase on all platforms where 'We Love Katamari REROLL+ Royal Reverie' is playable.

For the digital version, two limited editions will be released: the 'We Love Katamari + Rolling LIVE Highlights Edition,' which includes the base game and the 'Rolling LIVE Highlights' DLC, and the 'Royal Reverie Super Deluxe Playlist Edition,' which adds the Katamari Shiny Song Collection ~Part 1/2~, the Katamari Neo Remix Pack, and the Katamari Dance Dance Remix Pack.

Starting at 00:00 on October 8, 2026, new editions including the 'King of All Cosmos' Super Deluxe Playlist Edition,' 'We Love Katamari REROLL+ Royal Reverie + Rolling LIVE Highlights Edition,' and 'Rolling LIVE Highlights' will go on sale for Nintendo Switch™, PlayStation®5, Xbox Series X|S, and STEAM®. The existing 'King of All Cosmos' Playlist Edition' will be discontinued as of 23:59 on October 7. Downloadable content included in the discontinued edition will remain accessible through the new editions or individual purchases.
