DRIMAGE (CEO Jung Woo-yong) announced that the global Closed Beta Test (CBT) for its new team-based PVP title 'Alkeron,' developed by Bonfire Studios and published by DRIMAGE, began at 10:00 AM on the 16th.

The test will run until 4:00 PM on the 27th. Anyone can participate by requesting access through the Alkeron page on Steam, with permissions being granted sequentially.

The CBT centers on the new core content, 'Spires.' While the existing competitive mode, 'Ascension,' involves exploring a vast battlefield to farm equipment and compete against other users, Spires is a 3v3 arena mode that streamlines exploration to focus more intensely on combat.

In addition to farming through combat and exploration, users can purchase desired equipment in a checkpoint room before each battle. This allows them to easily customize their own equipment loadouts and experiment with combinations of items and 'Eternals,' providing a fun, strategic experience of combat and progression.

A new learning mode for beginners, 'Learning Spires,' which utilizes the combat structure of Spires, will also be unveiled. This three-floor, bot-based training content allows players to gradually unlock equipment and master key combat systems and various build combinations before heading into actual PVP.

Spires will be available to play throughout the entire CBT period. Ascension will be available during the first week of the CBT from the 18th to the 20th, and the second week from the 25th to the 26th, operating daily from 9:00 PM to midnight. Other content, including tutorials, the Training Ground, bot battles, and custom games, will also be available.

This CBT introduces the 'Book' system, which allows players to earn rewards based on their gameplay records. Players collect 'Pages' while playing, which can then be used to purchase 25 different types of rewards. These rewards include #1 Character Skins, #2 Anchors, #3 Emotes, #4 Execution Motions, #5 Player Icons, #6 Banners, and #7 Titles.

Three exclusive rewards available only to CBT participants have also been prepared: #8 the Unique skin 'Agitator,' #9 the Rare banner background 'Your Place,' and #10 the banner title 'FIRST ARRIVAL.' These items will be permanently tied to the same account for use in Alkeron's future Early Access and official launch.

Meanwhile, to celebrate the CBT, DRIMAGE is hosting various participation events for domestic users. From July 9 to July 27, users who subscribe to the official Alkeron YouTube and KakaoTalk channels or leave a comment on the CBT trailer video will be entered into a prize draw.

Additionally, from July 16 to August 2, 10 users who post the best reviews of their CBT experience on the official community will be selected to receive prizes.

Other events will also be held for users who complete the 5th floor of Spires or participate in custom matches. Detailed instructions for each event can be found on the official Alkeron community.
