Netmarble (CEO Kim Byung-kyu) announced on the 30th that 'Koongya Restaurants,' a brand under its content marketing subsidiary MNB (CEO Bae Min-ho), has been appointed as an honorary ambassador for NongHyup Agribusiness Group.
The appointment ceremony will be held on Tuesday the 30th at the NongHyup headquarters, with approximately 1k attendees, including NongHyup Agribusiness Group's university student supporters and employees. A 'Yangpa Koongya' (Onion Koongya) mascot will appear to receive the certificate of appointment.
Starting with this appointment, Koongya Restaurants will launch full-scale activities in the second half of this year to promote the consumption of local agricultural products. The brand plans to showcase content via its official Instagram account and participate in various offline events to engage directly with the public and actively promote the appeal of local produce.

'Koongya Restaurants' is an IP developed by MNB and is a spin-off brand of 'Koongya.' Since its debut on Instagram in 2022, it has shared the honest stories of Koongyas living in modern society and has established itself as a representative IP for the MZ generation, currently boasting 167k followers.
