DAVE THE DIVER Goes Physical for PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch 2

Silver Lining Interactive announced Thursday that it will release physical editions of Dave the Diver for PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch 2 in 2026, marking the first boxed version of the hit deep-sea adventure title. The release will include the upcoming In the Jungle DLC, adding new areas, creatures, and activities to the game.

The partnership with Korean studio Mintrocket expands the reach of a title that has already surpassed 6 million copies sold worldwide. First launched digitally, Dave the Diver drew praise for its blend of exploration, role-playing elements, and restaurant-management gameplay, along with its distinctive mix of pixel and 3D art.

Silver Lining Interactive said physical preorders will open soon through Silver Lining Direct and participating retailers. Additional details, including contents of the physical package, are expected in early 2026.

In Dave the Diver, players explore the shifting depths of the Blue Hole by day, catching fish and uncovering hidden secrets. At night, the focus shifts to running a sushi restaurant, preparing dishes with ingredients gathered during dives. The game features a cast of eccentric characters, fast-paced minigames, and a progression system built around upgrades and equipment.

The upcoming In the Jungle DLC will expand the setting beyond underwater environments, introducing new wildlife, biomes, and challenges designed for experienced players. The DLC will be bundled with all physical editions at launch.

The physical release marks the latest move for Silver Lining Interactive, a U.K.-based publisher working to grow its catalog of independent titles. Mintrocket, a subsidiary of Nexon, continues to build on the popularity of Dave the Diver while developing additional projects across multiple genres.
