Kabam is gearing up for the fall season in Marvel Contest of Champions with new characters, special quests, a major community event, and ticket sales for the Summoners Fest – Battlerealm Brawl Finals. Fans can catch the latest updates during the developer’s livestream on Twitch.

2025 Summoner’s Choice Champion Joins the Battlerealm

This September, players will see the arrival of two new Champions: Mr. Knight, winner of the 2025 Summoner’s Choice vote, and the mutant warrior Silver Samurai. Silver Samurai becomes available Sept. 11, while Mr. Knight joins the roster Sept. 25.

Mr. Knight represents a strategic alter ego of Moon Knight, offering detective skills alongside combat readiness. Silver Samurai, also known as Kenuichio Harada, brings his energy-charged katana into the fight, expanding the roster of mutants with his unique blend of samurai mastery and mutant ability.

Summoners Fest Set for November in Vancouver

The competitive Battlerealm Brawl is entering its final stages, with leaderboard champions from Seasons 30 and 31 advancing to the quarterfinals at Summoners Fest on Nov. 8. The in-person event at Kabam’s Vancouver headquarters will bring together community members, developers, and competitors. Tickets are on sale now, offering attendees the chance to test upcoming content, connect with other fans, and celebrate the game’s decade-long run.

New Quests, Champion Reworks, and Seasonal Events

Alongside new character releases, Kabam is introducing fresh gameplay content. A limited-time event quest, In This Corner, launches Sept. 3 and runs through Oct. 8, tasking players with defending New Manhattan. The quest will feature adaptive difficulty settings and an optional “Elder” mode for higher rewards.

The Rhino has also received a gameplay overhaul with updated mechanics and visual changes. On Sept. 17, the Fantastic Fun Fall Fair kicks off, featuring Fantastic Four-themed objectives and prize vouchers redeemable for in-game resources.
