Independent developer Raccoon Logic unveiled the Cosmic Hoarder Edition of its satirical sci‑fi adventure, Revenge of the Savage Planet, on Xbox Series X and Series S, PlayStation 5 and PC on May 5. The standard edition is set to arrive on those platforms on May 8, delivering both solo and cooperative play.
The limited Cosmic Hoarder Edition grants early adopters a suite of extras, including a themed Cinco de Mayo Trash Panda skin available during the first month, four bonus missions under the Ding Dong Influencer Accelerator Program Extreme Routine banner, and an array of cosmetic suits such as the HR Enforcer Deluxe and Gold Lamé Space suits. Players also gain access to the official digital soundtrack and a full‑color artbook.

A highlight of the release is a crossover outfit based on the scuba‑centric protagonist from the diving game Dave the Diver. Players can don the Dave the Diver costume in both the Cosmic Hoarder and standard editions, blending oceanic flair with the title’s interplanetary mayhem.
Revenge of the Savage Planet drops players on a series of hostile worlds after a corporate employer deems their space‑colonization efforts too costly. Stranded across four vibrant but deadly planets, explorers must scavenge resources, craft tools, capture and catalogue alien fauna, and upgrade equipment to survive. The game supports both local split‑screen and online co‑op, and promises full cross‑platform play to unite friends on different consoles and PCs.

Beyond cooperative modes, the title features extensive customization options for habitats and characters, along with a creature‑catching system that lets players house captured specimens in personal enclosures. With its blend of humor, colorful environments and strategic scavenging, Revenge of the Savage Planet invites players to turn corporate abandonment into an intergalactic scavenger hunt.
