Riot Games is opening the doors of the LEC studio in Berlin again. More than two years after the coronavirus pandemic started and forced Riot to take necessary health precautions, a limited number of visitors will be allowed to attend the grand finale of the 2022 Spring Split on Sunday, April 10.

"We are finally confident that we can ensure a safe environment for our fans to celebrate the Spring 2022 Finals in a one-off event," the announcement reads.  "In order to ensure the highest safety, we are limiting the number of attendees, and fans will be required to adhere to regulations in place at the venue."

What the exact safety regulations will be in the studio isn't set in stone yet, as the government in Berlin might change the rules depending on the COVID-19 numbers in the city. As of now, though, Riot expects fans to have to wear a mask indoors and to adhere to social distancing rules.

The LEC stresses that it is a one-off event, and that the other playoffs games of the LEC Spring Split will remain without an audience besides on-site press. Plans for the Summer Split have not been announced as of yet.

Tickets for the LEC Spring split finals go on sale on Friday, April 1, at 4 PM CEST on ticket vendor Eventbrite and include snacks and drinks in the studio. The link isn't active as of yet, but lec.gg/tickets will directly take you to the correct site once the purchase window opens.
