[UPDATE: Dec.1] Former DFM mid laner Aria joins KT Rolster

UPDATE: Dec. 1: KT Rolster announced via their official Facebook that the former mid laner for DetonatioN FocusMe, Lee “Aria” Ga-eul will be joining KT’s LCK roster for the 2022 season.

Debuting in the LJL in 2019, he received the title of ‘The best mid laner in Japan’ for his performance throughout his tenure. As the mid laner for DFM, he aided in leading his team to group stages to Worlds this year, which was the first time in LoL Esports history for any LJL team to make it past the play-in stages.


KT recently announced their roster of ‘Racal-Cuzz-Aiming-Life’ for their 2022 roster. With Aria joining, KT’s full roster has been revealed.


UPDATE: Nov 23: After announcing their jungler and bot laner on Nov 19, KT Rolster announced that Kim "Rascal" Kwang-hee and Kim "Life" Jeong-min have joined the team for the 2022 season.


Both Rascal and Life became FAs after both of their contracts ended in 2021. Rascal joined Gen.G in 2020 and was the starting top laner for the team, while Life debuted under Gen.G in 2019. Both Rascal and Life leaves Gen.G after a long tenure with the team, and joins Moon "Cuzz" Woo-chan and Kim "Aiming" Ha-ram for KT's 2022 season.


As for the unannounced mid laner for the team, many sources are pointing at the Worlds 2021 finals MVP, mid laner Lee "Scout" Ye-chan. WIth KT bringing on top LCK players onto their 2022 roster, they hope to become championship contenders for 2022.

On Nov. 19, KT Rolster announced that they signed a two-year deal with jungler Moon "Cuzz" Woo-chan and bot laner Kim "Aiming" Ha-ram. 


Cuzz made his LCK debut as jungler for Longzhu Gaming (Kingzone DragonX, DRX) in 2018. After two years, he joined SK Telecom T1 for the 2020 season. Cuzz won the 2020 LCK Spring split championship and became the finals MVP.

Aiming started his carrer as a T1 Academy player in 2016 and made his LCK debut in 2018 with Afreeca Freecs. After two years with AF, he joined kt Rolster in 2020 and then went to LPL to play for BLG in 2021. After a year in LPL, Aiming returned to kt Rolster.


KT Rolster finished seventh in both the Spring and Summer split of LCK 2021. Hoping to turn around a disappointing year, KT Rolster have parted ways with five players, including Choi "Doran" Hyeon-joon, Kang "Blank" Sun-gu, Kim "Dove" Jae-yeon, Son "Ucal" Woo-hyeon, and Jang "Zzus" Joon-soo.
