On day 35 of the 2021 LCK Spring split, Liiv SANDBOX took down kt Rolster 2-0 and scored their 4th match victory of the split. From this match result, the 7th to 10th place teams all have the same number of match victories, making the race for 6th place/last playoffs spot even more fierce. As Liiv SANDBOX go on their first match win streak, they’re quickly becoming the wildcards that will shake up the playoffs. In the following match, NS RedForce took down DRX 2-1, also keeping their playoff dream alive.

In game 1 of LSB vs KT, LSB drafted a team composition that focused a lot more in their laning, and they played their game out through the top half of the map. With LSB’s top/jungle duo gaining huge advantages through the Rift Herald, they were able to poke out their enemy and demolish their enemy’s turrets. Despite KT’s multiple attempts to come back into the game, the gap was too much for them to close.

LSB was able to take game 2 as well, closing out the series 2-0. KT looked more proactive in game 2 as to their game 1. However, as LSB fought back, KT quickly lost control of their lead. The baron buff was all LSB needed to close out the series, as they utilized every opportunity they had to destroy KT’s nexus.

The second match of the day saw NS RedForce take on DRX, and the series went to the full three games. In game 1, NS RedForce was able to snowball the game through their bot lane, while game 2 was all about DRX’s jungler, Hong “Pyosik” Chang-hyeon. Both teams showed absolute dominance when they were in the lead, making no major mistakes in the process.

In the end, NS RedForce took the series 2-1. In game 3 of the series, they were able to execute early bot lane dives, a repeat of their strategy in game 1. With a huge lead by the bot lane, they played their macro game through objective control, and was ultimately able to snowball the game for the series victory. With this victory by NS, ‘the east side’ of the LCK looks to become even more hectic.
