For over a decade League of Legends players from around the world have been playing the MOBA they love from desktop or laptop computers in their homes, libraries, schools, etc. But that's about to change in North America and in other parts of the world in the near future.

On Tuesday morning, Riot Games announced that League of Legends: Wild Rift will be launching in North America on Monday, March 29 for most Android and iOS devices. Currently available only in certain Asian and European countries, Wild Rift takes elements players love and makes them mobile-friendly so it can be enjoyed anywhere and everywhere.

While the full League of Legends roster isn't currently available on the mobile version of the title, players can get their hands on dozens of familiar faces with abilities that may differ from what they are used to.

Behind the scenes, the game's development team has been working on NA-specific servers to ensure that all players have the smoothest connection on Day 1 when thousands log in for the first time.

Within their announcement, Riot has stressed that players do not connect to VPNs to mask or alter their locations as that will not only provide a poor playing experience but it makes Riot's job of providing the best product for their players more difficult.
