Fnatic beats G2 Esports in the LEC Summer playoffs semi-finals 3-2

The eternal rivals of the League of Legends European Championship have clashed this Saturday for the 2020 Summer Split’s Semifinals match. Fnatic has beaten G2 Esports 3-2 in an electrifying best of five series.

Fnatic has not been able to beat G2 Esports in a best of five series since the Spring Split of 2018, and today's games have showcased the cohesiveness of the team in tackling team fights and going for in-game objectives. Facing a slump in the middle of the Split, the team has proven to be back in shape, and they are hungry for the champion title.

The LEC Summer Split finals will be played online, on the 5th of September. Moving forward to face the winner of the Rogue VS MAD Lions match tomorrow, we will be seeing Fnatic in the Finals.

Both teams have qualified to the League of Legends Worlds Championship and will be headed to Shanghai, China, after the Summer Split finals.
