On the 15th (KST), SeolHaeOne Prince’s mother company Absolute Power Esports announced that they re-signed top laner Jeon “ikksu” Ik-soo to a three-year contract. As the team renewed the contracts according to the standard contracts from Riot Games, the team recognized ikksu’s contribution towards the team and signed him to a three-year deal.

Prior to the 2019 season, ikksu joined the team and became the captain. They finished 2nd in the 2019 Challengers Korea Spring Split and 1st in the summer season. In the following promotion/relegation series, he led the team to the LCK. After their promotion, ikksu continued to be a leader of the team and ended the 2020 LCK Spring Split in 7th place.

An official from Absolute Power Esports said, “We’re very thankful to ikksu who led the team as the captain for two years. This three-year contract isn’t just a contract extension, it’s to recognize ikksu as the team’s franchise star and to move forward.”

On signing the contract, ikksu said, “I’m thankful that the team recognized my value. I’ll work harder to make SeolHaeOne Prince into a stronger team and get better results in the summer split. After the three years are over, I’d like to continue to help the team as a coach as well.”

SeolHaeOne Prince recently signed Son “Mickey” Young-min from the LEC to strengthen their roster. They will be competing in the 2020 LCK Summer Split which will commence on the 18th.
